Representation in Careers Students in the WHOLE Mentoring Program traveled to the Microsoft campus for a lesson in career exploration and the benefits of mentorship. 

Hot Wheels Hawthorne Elementary will receive $18,000 as part of the All Kids Bike Initiative, which teaches kindergarteners how to ride a bike.

A Helping Hand for Teachers The SPS Consulting Teacher Program has been awarded a $7,000 grant to support new teachers.

School Year Calendar Feedback Survey We want to hear from you! Please provide feedback on school year dates and religious accommodations guidance by Friday, Jan. 13. 

Deadline for AP Accommodations Approaching The request for AP exam accommodations must be submitted by Thursday, Jan. 18, to the College Board. 

FAFSA is Open Applications for federal and state financial aid (FAFSA and WASFA) are open. 

Know Your Options SPS will host an admissions fair for neighborhood and option schools on Saturday, Jan. 28. 

Honoring MLK The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Had a dream to end racism and discrimination. In honor of his legacy, all schools and the central office will be closed on Monday, Jan. 16. 

A Promising Future The Seattle Promise Scholarship increases access to college for students, particularly those from underrepresented groups. Join an upcoming workshop to learn more. 

Low to No-Cost Internet Access Students and families in need of affordable internet access can apply to the Affordable Connectivity Program.
