Congratulations to SPS Scholarship and Award Winners The shout outs continue as SPS students and staff racked up accolades during the final weeks of school.  

Black Boy Joy It was a celebration of Black history and culture as students in the Kingmakers program received their crowns. 

Admissions Office Summer Schedule The JSCEE admissions counter will be closed July 17 through Aug. 4, and will reopen Monday, Aug. 7. Staff will be working remotely to answer questions through Let’s Talk. 

School Day SAT and PSAT SPS will offer the school day PSAT/NMSQT to all 11th graders in October. A free school day SAT is open to all seniors.

Start Them Early SPS offers several preschool options for children ages 3 to 5 years old. 

Start Planning for the New School Year  

The first day of school for 1st – 12th grade students will be Sept. 6. Kindergarteners and preschoolers will start on Sept. 11. View all 2023-24 school year dates. 

Summer Meals for Students SPS and the City of Seattle are partnering to provide free, healthy breakfasts, lunches, and snacks to children age 18 and younger.
