The Steinhatchee Stingray Recreation Association (SSRA) is looking for donations to help purchase some snow cone supplies for the kids! In need of $250 worth of supplies. Miriam Alexander landed this MASSIVE red snapper during her trip with Capt. Chase Norwood. This catch won her 1st Place in the Blue Diamond Tournament! Along with her cash winnings, Sea Hag Marina donated $250 to a charity of her choice. Ms. Miriam chose to purchase tickets to the Gulf Specimen Marine Lab in Panacea so some children in Steinhatchee could go this summer!

The Blue Diamond Tournament

Miriam and her girls have fished the Nauti-Girls Fishing Tournament for more than 10 years. Unfortunately there was not enough offshore categories this year, so Sea Hag Marina arranged a tournament among their crew so they could still enjoy the competition fun!

Red snapper are officially open for guided trips! They open for recreational fishing June 16th!

2023 Recreational RED SNAPPER DATES have been announced by Governor Ron DeSantis!

Recreational Red Snapper will be open from

June 16 through July 31st! Along with every Friday, Saturday & Sunday in both October and November!

It’s a record-breaking amount of open days since the state took management of Gulf red snapper!

GEAR UP Y’ALL! We’ve got a boatload of frozen bait, tackle & good times coming your way!

The Tiny Torpedoes Fishing Team didn't win the fishing tournament, but were still winners at the Sea Hag!

Marine Summer Day Camp

Victor Blanco and many other volunteers took out groups of local kids for a day of fun & learning on the water! They snorkeled, swam, rode on boats and learned so much about Steinhatchee's ecosystem. They also got to try out scuba diving and hunted for ocean critters.

What an awesome opportunity!
