Dear St. James’s Community,
I’m writing to invite all of you to a reception honoring John McCard and celebrating his ministry with us over the last six years. Please join us in Valentine Hall on Saturday, June 17th from 11am-1pm. We will have catered food and drinks, a cake, and we will take the opportunity to thank John for his contributions to the St. James’s community. There is no RSVP necessary and everyone is welcome. If you wish to bring John a card or gift you can drop it off at the Parish House or bring it to the reception.
In Peace,

Have fun! Go nuts! Don’t wait.
Join us at a Richmond Squirrels game in July.
After having such a great time last year, St. James’s is going back to see the Flying Squirrels – on Saturday, July 8! The Squirrels take on the Bowie Baysox at 6:05 pm, plus it’s Glow Night and fireworks.
|
You can purchase your General Admission Tickets to the game when click here. But don’t wait, the Squirrels are drawing big crowds this year, and we don’t want anyone to get shut out. The Squirrels attract fans from not just the Richmond area, but a 45 mile radius.
As we get closer to the game, we’ll send out more information on where we’ll be sitting.

If you find something you’ve been missing, come by the Parish House (next to the playground) and retrieve your lost item. Any items not claimed by September 30 will be donated.

Keeping Up with St. James’sers
Don't be shy. Share your photos.
Our popular Keeping Up With St. James’sers program – where you share with us what you’re doing and where you’re going over the Summer - is back. And we would love for you to share your photos with us.
This summer, we want to see more than your summer vacations, things like:
Volunteering, hobbies, backyard/block parties, accomplishments, spending time at the pool, photos of your pets, activities with your kids or grandchildren, weekend activities, offbeat moments, or any other activity – serious or silly. It's about what you’re up to this Summer.
|
|
Use this form to tell us what you're up to and send us some pics.
Have some fun. Surprise us!
|
|
The shelves of our
Little Free Library are bare.
Help us refill them.
If you have any gently used books for children K to 5th grade, and are willing to donate them, we’d love to put them in the Little Free Library.
Just bring your books to The Parish house during the week or to the Narthex on Sundays…and we’ll see that they get into good – and grateful – hands.
