Event History: Beverages to Enhance Equity in Relationships (BEER) was created in 2017 by Vu Le, author of the blog Nonprofit AF, as a way for funders and nonprofits to get to know one another and build relationships informally and without an agenda. Known today as PEEP — Party to Enhance Equity in Philanthropy — this event is celebrated nationally in conjunction with the summer solstice.
