I'm thrilled to announce that I will be playing with my friend, the iconic Dick Hamilton, this Valentine's Day at Bijou Cafe!
Dick has had an impressive music career that spans over 50 years, playing with everyone from Tony Bennett, Bing Crosby, Sammy Davis Jr., Dionne Warwick, Natalie Cole, and Olivia Newton-John, to name a few. Hamilton also composed, arranged, wrote lyrics, engineered, and produced TV and radio commercials, including The Oscars, The Bob Hope Show, and The Merv Griffin Show throughout his career.
This legend is one of our very own, Dick is a native of Sarasota and a 1956 graduate of Sarasota High School.
Our Valentine's Show will include Darcie Allen on vocals, Peter Innocenti on Bass, and special guest, Dick Hamilton on piano.
