Increase Your Patients' Likeliness to Recommend

Patient satisfaction surveys are an important and commonly used indicator for measuring the quality of health care.

Overwhelmingly, Fulcrum’s provider networks have high levels of patient satisfaction and positive experiences with their care. Being skilled at strong patient relationships offers the highest quality of care, both in terms of clinical outcomes and patient experience.

Actionable items to improve patient referrals include:

  1. Shared decision making to identify patient needs and preference; and create the best individualized treatment plan.
  2. Using outcomes and measurable goals to demonstrate progress to the care plan.
  3. Self-care instruction for prevention and at home care
  4. Strong patient relationships where they feel cared for and listened to by their doctor
  5. Professional respect given by all members of staff
  6. Coordination of care is a key drive of satisfaction
  7. Staff huddles to organize the clinic flow

The literature suggests that patients’ experiences are more positive when including empathy, patient-centeredness, and perceived support.
