Savage Baseball Update 9/29 Orientation Plus

We will be holding our Savage Baseball orientation for new and existing players and families this Sunday at the Powerhouse from 5:30-7:30. The Powerhouse is located at 200 Poplar Place North Aurora IL 60542. We encourage you to bring a lawn chair just in case we run out of seating. We would love to see you all in person but understand if you are unable to attend. If you are unable to attend, here is the ZOOM LINK. We will also record this just in case you are unable to attend or join us as a zoomer.

There will be very important information for you to ensure that we are all on the same page and understand the expectations of all players, parents and fans. We will also discuss winter training and the baseball season schedule with leagues and /or tournaments.




ADDITIONAL INFO ON UNIFORMS


Helmets- we have ordered 2 helmets through Boombah and will have those in the office to try on. They should arrive sometime next week. Players are very particular about the helmets so here is the plan.

We will wait to place our helmet order and have everyone try on the helmets to place an order in early December. We will then place a separate Helmet order only because they are not part of the store.


If your player does not like the helmet offerings from Boombah, you may purchase your own helmet elsewhere. This helmet must be navy blue. We will have 3D helmet stickers available for $10 on the store and you can apply that to your new helmet. We also have some new helmets in stock from previous seasons that you may want to check out before going elsewhere.


Belts and Socks- This was listed on the previous email but, these will be for sale on the Savage store site as Boombah is not handling that portion of the order.


Jersey Numbers- You players numbers have been listed on the SAVAGE BASEBALL SHOP. Please reference this roster sheet to enter the correct number for your player.

Savage Baseball Update 9/28 Uniforms

Hello Savage Families,


Thank you all for taking the time to head into PoWerHouse to get your player fitted for their 2024 uniforms. If you have not already done so, the last day to try on the uniforms is Sunday, October 8th


With that being said, The Savage Boombah Store is now open for uniform purchasing as well as some spirit wear. Click Here: BOOMBAH STORE


RETURNING PLAYERS: Please be aware that purchasing the entire collection of uniforms is NOT necessary; however, you are REQUIRED to purchase the alternative (Blue and White Pinstripe set). Boombah's art design team worked hard to match the old jerseys to the best of their abilities; however, there is a slight variation which includes the font on the back. The light blue jersey has been phased out to allow the pinstripe alternative set. If you already have the claw hat and the 'S' white hat you are not required to purchase; however, the coloring MAY be slightly different. 


DIRECTIONS FOR PURCHASING:

1. 3 uniforms are required for the 2024 season (Navy, White, and Carolina Blue Pinstripe)

2. 3 pants or knickers are required for the 2024 season (White, Gray and Carolina Blue Pinstripe). The pants/knickers are OPTIONAL through Boombah. However, the Carolina Blue Pinstripe is REQUIRED. If you choose to purchase the white and gray pants or knickers elsewhere, we prefer that they have a red pinstripe down the side to be uniform with the team.

3. 2 hats (Claw Mark and White 'S'). If you have these already, you are not required to purchase again; however, the fit and coloring MAY be slightly different.

4. The Spirit Wear and additional accessories are optional. There are hoodies, bat bags, pants, and t-shirts. 

5. Socks and belts will be sold on our Savage website. The socks will be Navy with red and white stripes. These are optional but prefer the belt color to be red and socks to be navy if purchasing separately.


IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER:

1. Uniform fitting closes on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 8TH.

2. The website Boombah store closes for production on THURSDAY, OCTOBER 12TH. ** If you are getting items for Christmas, this will be the only opportunity through the store!**

3. The Boombah Store items ship, MONDAY, NOVEMBER 6TH.

4. The Boombah Store will re-open again on January 11 and once again March 11. The store will be open only be open for 2 weeks at a time and there will be additional fees included since these additional orders are not in our bulk order from October 8th.


**All items are to be delivered to PoWerHouse. An email will go out when those items are available for pickup. 


**Savage will be designing additional spirit wear for purchase on our website

Spring/Summer Uniform Fitting


Savage Families, in order to ensure proper sizing for our new team uniforms we have set up a designated time for each team to come into PoWerHouse and try on the uniforms. We will have sizing kits for each uniform. Everything will be properly labeled for your ease. 


As you know, uniforms are an additional cost. We are completely streamlining this process with an online team store that will not only have uniforms but also additional team and fan apparel. There will be bat bags, sweatshirts, hats, t-shirts and sweatpants. The socks and belt will be a bundle on our Savage Store with some other additional apparel available for purchase.


The uniforms will be broken up into full buttons with a choice of knickers or pants and 2 buttons with a choice of knickers or pants. 

Please be sure to size based on next season.

Also, write down your player size so that you can go onto the Boombah team store and order once it becomes live. That link will be provided in a separate email soon!
