Hello Sato Dragons

Welcome to Spring Break! Hopefully everyone takes time to rest and rejuvenate. We will return on April 8th which is a typical Odd day schedule.

Please take a look below at a few crazy good Sato moments from the past week.

We will be conducting a disaster drill on April 12th in the middle of the school day. This drill is slightly longer than our usual evacuation drill. To ensure no loss of our instructional time to any one class, we will use an assembly schedule for the drill, which should last about 20 minutes. We will release students from the drill to lunch.

Have a great week, and goooo Dragons!

On March 2th, Matthew Bates, upgraded his Technician Amateur Radio license to General Class, allowing him the use of high frequency bands to communicate with most countries in the world. Franco Garetto and Adoniaya Paul also passed their Technician Amateur Radio License exams. Sato Academy Amateur Radio Operators are now able to better serve the school in the case of a major emergency. Team Captain, Liam Van Citters, who has a General Class License, is in the process of training these new radio operators how to best support the school and the community.

Students interested in getting their license and building the school’s amateur radio team, please attend the radio club’s weekly Wednesday meeting in the radio room on the east side of the cafeteria at 3:40.
