If you are bringing Prashad to the temple in plastic and steel containers, please pick them up immediately, and do not leave it on the temple premises.

Sankatahara Chaturthi is observed on the fourth day, or chaturthi, of every month Krishna Paksha, or the waning phase of the moon. The word sankata means difficulties or troubles, Ganesha is a obstacle remover.Praying Lord Ganesh on this Chaturthi day is auspicious.

We would like to streamline Prashad distribution at the temple on Thursdays and the Weekends, to minimize wastage and use temple resources more effectively.

ANNADANAM IN INDIA

Temple is sponsoring meals three days per week at the Government Hospital in Anantapur and at Ramakrishna Mission. Three meals are given on Thursdays, Saturdays, and Mondays to those who need food to sustain themselves and their families. More than 600 meals are given freely on these days.

You may sponsor annadanam for any one day for a special occasion or in memory of a loved one.lp us plan Prashad preparation in the temple.
