Sundays and Wednesdays

Join us Sundays from 8 - 9 am and Wednesdays from 7 - 8 pm either in-person at the Center or via Zoom video conferencing for practice and teaching with Michael.

From the Ashes

Walking through a month-old prescribed burn area in the Ochocos, I notice little patches of green here and there. Since the fire was allowed to ‘run’ close to the ground the heat did not penetrate deeply into the soil. New life is already springing up from the ashes, grateful for the nutrients supplied.

If we were to do prescribed burns in our emotional life, we could grow fresh plants of awareness without so much fuss. We just make sure to keep it to ourselves so we do not burn anyone else. Emotions can naturally cleanse our inner environment if allowed to be “freed in their own condition” without grasping or pushing away. Middle path emotional forest management?

Much Love,

🙏🏼Michael

"Generosity brings happiness at every stage of its expression.

We experience joy in forming the intention to be generous.

We experience joy in the actual act of giving something.

And we experience joy in remembering the fact that we have given."
