Clearing the Air

We are finally experiencing clean air to breathe during the day and can open our windows at night. This seems like a luxury in the midst of ‘smoke season’, but I will savor the moment because I know it will change—just as all seasons change. Sometimes I wish the smoke in my mind would clear so I could see things more clearly. I guess that is why I practice entering the clear blue sky even when the smoke appears.

It is interesting we use the phrase, “clearing the air”, when we want to improve our relationships. You might say the smoke that prevents us from communicating clearly is an invitation to do just that. It is a matter of knowing the clear blue sky is still there. The discomfort of our smokiness reminds us, calls us to remember loving kindness is seeking to express itself regardless of the haze.

May all beings see through the smoke of misunderstanding and express the true calling of our clear unobscured nature.

Much Love,

🙏🏼🌎 Michael

We experience joy in forming the intention to be generous.

We experience joy in the actual act of giving something.
