Distance Work
Distance Work

I think distance work is considered advanced work in some circles. My new pre-agility program is teaching distance comprehension before obstacle training. I say embrace early and often! I have not met a dog that did not immediately or eventually love distance work, only dogs that did not get enough exposure to the training to discover the love!

Whether you want to begin learning distance skills or enhance them, this study group session promises to go the the distance. We will explore different approaches to distance handling as well as covering specific ways to teach your dog to love to work at a distance.

Sandy’s popular online study group is inspired by the classic book club format. You will have a few days to read one of her favorite articles published in Clean Run Magazine, followed by the opportunity to get together on ZOOM to discuss any questions and ideas.

Sandy chooses articles that provoke thought and discussion. Each week the conversation takes students all over the training world map. You are welcome and encouraged to ask generic questions or specific questions relative to your own dog.
Sandy is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
