Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department Pays Homage To Fallen San Francisco Firefighter
Firefighters and police officers in Tri-Valley paid homage to fallen San Francisco firefighter Jalal Aineb Thursday. Aineb died this week after battling cancer. His procession was met by firefighters in mourning from Livermore-Pleasanton and Alameda County fire departments, who congregated on the freeway overpasses along I-580 to pay their respects to their fallen brother.

Paul Martin was born on April 7, 1942, to William and Marian Stanley Sheehan in San Francisco, CA. On October 21, 2011, Paul married the love of his life, Lucinda Lea in Lubbock, Texas. He graduated San Rafael High School on May 18, 1960. While in high school Paul entered the USMC Reserves proudly serving his country. Paul was a fireman for the Kentfield, Marin County, Sausalito, and San Francisco Fire Departments. In 1967, he received an Associated of Science in Fire Science from the College of Marin, and his teaching credentials in 1968. His career spanned from 1962 until 1994, when he retired from the San Francisco Fire Department.
