Engineers Week

National Engineers Week from Feb. 18 to 24 is a great opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of engineers and technicians and introduce K-12 students to engineering and technology. The San Diego Engineering Council (SDEC) is hosting several events and offering a variety of ways to engage students.

Visit the Engineers Week website for an educators toolkit and downloadable resources. See more events, clubs, and opportunities on the SDCEC website, including on-demand speakers and available scholarships.

The San Diego Festival of Science & Engineering is produced by Generation STEAM, Biocom California’s 501c3 nonprofit committed to K-12 science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) education. Our goal at Generation STEAM is to spark a love of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math in K-12 students and expose them to careers in which their unique strengths can be utilized. We want students to know that whatever their skills, interests, and values, there is a place for them in STEAM.
