Introducing - Samaritas' Fundraising Guide!

Samaritas has just launched an official Fundraising Guide to provide new ways for our friends, volunteers, and partners to join in the work of serving and supporting children, families, and seniors throughout Michigan through their own fundraiser!

Our ability to address the daily needs of our clients is only possible through the financial support of individuals – like yourselves – invested in this mission! Through this guide, we hope to make it as easy and convenient as possible to spread the word, share your enthusiasm for this work, and give you the resources to partner with us to raise valuable dollars to support the clients you know, and so many more people just like them.

We invite you to come alongside us on this journey and use your event, social media presence, and conversations to create ripples of positive change

Shout-out to St. Paul Church in Dearborn!

Thank you to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Dearborn for donating 30 BASKETS (yes, you heard that right!) of cleaning supplies and hygiene items to newly arrived refugees!!

Donated household items and furniture are a TREMENDOUS help as Samaritas' New Americans teams provide housing to refugees just entering the United States.

St. Paul Lutheran Church - YOU ROCK!!

Shout-out to the Greater Detroit of United Methodist Church District

HUGE Thank You to the Greater Detroit of United Methodist Church District for welcoming a newly arrived refugee family and supplying the items needed for them to furnish their first home in the US!

We're so grateful to the charter of 81 churches, each taking turns to supply household items to many of the refugee families arriving in Southeast, MI! We appreciate you SO MUCH!

THANK YOU for bringing so much joy

to those in need!

Samaritas in the Media!

Forced to flee his home country out of fear for his safety, Alessandro, an LGBT client from Nicaragua, came to America in search of acceptance and opportunity. With the help of Global Refuge partner Samaritas and his Case Manager Hamzah, Alessandro found a community that welcomed and embraced him. Hear Alessandro tell his story about how this Detroit community "made me feel like you can be loved, you can be whatever you want."

Check out these news stories to see how your support is helping empower others to live their fullest life possible!
