SIT Program Support

While intern programs are common, spiritually integrated programs are fewer and far between. For those who seek this, Spiritually Integrated Therapy integrates a person’s beliefs and values in the healing process. Counselors meet clients where they are and are trained to recognize multiple paths of healing through a whole person approach by nurturing mind, body, spirit, and community. Our goal is to serve all in need regardless of their faith journey or ability to pay.

Due to a shortage of licensed mental health professionals in our community, Samaritan has graduated 17 interns from our onsite workforce development program since 2018. Collectively, these interns provided thousands of supervised pro bono and reduced-fee counseling sessions to the community. This successful program now has 8 interns but incurs costs annually. Your support plays a valuable role in the outcomes we achieve.

Thank you for recognizing the need for professional mental health counseling in our community and for fueling the profession.
