Yellow-phase updates
Mayor Erin Mendenhall announced that Salt Lake City will move to the yellow restriction phase starting Friday, September 4th.

UDA has created yellow phase compliance guidelines for players and the organization to ensure the health and safety of our players and families remains our top priority.

Event recap
We want to give a special thanks to all of our #UDAfamilia that made it to our Free Items event in early August.
The Work-2-Play Program (W2P) provides opportunities for players with financial need to offset the cost of participation (e.g. club fees, uniform, etc) in exchange for traded work at a rate of $8.00/hr.
Small business feature
Empresso Coffee started with the realization for the need of specialty coffee on the-go and lots of grit and passion.

My mom also always leaned me into her entrepreneurial spirit. I remember she would take me out to stores to look for the best deal on candies or chips which then she would have me go sell around the neighborhood or school.

Fast forwarding to my business now, I remember looking up how much the costs would be to start it and figuring out that my current job would not cut it. I picked up another job working 80+ hours. There were days I wouldn’t even have time for a quick bite on a meal but deep down I reminded myself what my goal was.

Here I am now very thankful that the venture has started and excited for what the world of entrepreneurship has in store for me. Specially through these difficult times.
Empresso Coffee offers specialty coffee through a mobile cart. We also offer additives like pastries, smoothies, lemonade and hot chocolate.

Located on 79 S. Main Street, Salt Lake City, UT. Right in front of Wells Fargo.

Coach spotlight
Coach Sasha Zaharoff

Meet coach Sasha. He has been coaching with UDA since 2014. He was born in Sacramento, California and started playing soccer at the age of 7. Sasha's best advice he has received is "Everyone makes the best choice for themselves." If he could live anywhere in the world it would be in France. Sasha has a dog and a cat that think they are human. Dad jokes makes him laugh the most and if he could only eat one meal for the rest of his life, he would choose sandwiches.
