Saline County Health Department Publishes Annual Report

The Saline County Health Department is proud to announce the release of its first-ever Annual Report, a comprehensive review of its activities, partnerships, and efforts dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of all Saline County residents.

The Annual Report arrives after several months of diligent preparation and years of conceptual development, embodying the department's longstanding desire to spotlight the talent, dedication, and impactful work of its team and community partners. The report is a testament to the collective efforts to foster healthy families and strong communities and reflects the department's commitment to transparency, community engagement, and public health excellence.

The report aims to broaden the public's understanding of public health beyond the pandemic, showcasing the department's ongoing initiatives to promote wellness, prevent disease, and build a resilient public health infrastructure capable of confronting current and future challenges.

"The ongoing support of our Saline County Commission is what allows us to do what is necessary to achieve our vision: Healthy families. Strong communities. Building our future together," explained Jason Tiller, Saline County Health Officer.

Additionally, the report highlights the valuable input and ongoing support from the Health Department Advisory Council and the indispensable partnerships across the community.

The Saline County Health Department invites community members, stakeholders, and media representatives to review the Annual Report, which serves not only as a review of the past year but also as a forward-looking document that outlines a path toward a healthier, more equitable future for Saline County.
