Friday Mass

Each month, students from Saint Joseph's Lower and Upper Schools gather for Mass together at 9:00am on one designated Friday. On other Fridays, students from either the Lower or Upper School attend Mass at Saint Joseph Church. Families are welcome and encouraged to join their students for all these celebrations. Please check the school calendar for the full Mass schedule.

Join us this Friday, September 6th, at 9:00am for our first all-school Mass of the year, hosted by gr. 8!

Label Your Belongings and Check Lost & Found

As we kick off the school year, please remember to label all uniforms, water bottles, lunch boxes, and outerwear with your child's name. This helps ensure that lost items can be returned quickly. Don’t forget to regularly check the Lost & Found, located in the Lower and Upper School Cafeterias, as well as the Early Childhood School Main Office. Let's work together to keep our belongings organized and easily retrievable!

Chromebook and A.I. Use Form Now Overdue

The Fun Run Is Back!

Planning is underway for the 2024 Fun Run. Our goal for the 2024 Fun Run is to raise $70,000 for our school. We are excited to offer Fun Run t-shirts to our students, faculty, and staff again this year at no cost to families and staff.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for families and businesses on our Fun Run t-shirts. This is a wonderful opportunity to have your business logo or family name on the most popular t-shirt around.

Deadline for T-Shirt Sponsorship is this Friday, September 6, 2024!

Join the SJS Needham School Choir!

We’re thrilled to invite students in Grades 3-8 to join the SJS Needham School Choir, led by the talented Dr. Carlo Serrano! Rehearsals take place every Wednesday from 2:40-3:20pm in the Music Room. This dynamic program is free of charge and offers an incredible opportunity for students to showcase their musical talents. (Choir does not start this Weds 9/4, start date tbd)

The choir’s primary role is to provide uplifting music for our monthly First Friday Liturgies, but that’s not all! Our choir also performs at various all-school functions at prayer services, concerts, and assemblies. Don’t miss out on the chance to be part of this exciting musical journey—sign up now and let your voice be heard!

Birthday Book Donation Program

The Birthday Book Program is one of the library's main fundraisers, supplying a large portion of our library budget. Families can donate a book to the library as part of a child's birthday celebration! When families make a donation in celebration of their student's birthday, the students are able to pick a new book from the “Birthday Book Cart”. We will place a bookplate with the child's name in the front of the book, and the child will be able to checkout the book first before it is circulated in our library as a new title. Books may be also given at holidays, in honor of a teacher, relative, friend, or in memoriam.
