Partners in Faith

Recent studies have revealed that many Catholic children leave the Faith when they leave high school. Those who remain faithful come from families who follow four “best practices.” See the main feature on page one for details.

If your family was invited to dinner with Jesus, would you go? Of course! The main feature on page two outlines all the ways your children benefit from attending Mass.

Jesus Christ must be the center of our lives, and all of us, regardless of our vocation, are called to have a deep, living intimacy with Him. The Scripture Lesson on page two illustrates how to help children to cultivate that deep friendship with Christ.

First Holy Communion

First Communion will be held on Saturday, May 4th at 9:00 AM. Please pray for our second graders as they receive the Precious Body of Our Lord Jesus Christ for the very first time.

"Lord Jesus Christ, bless the children coming forward to receive Holy Communion for the first time.May this day be the step toward a life-long love of the Eucharist. Give them a hunger for this sacred food so that they turn to you for comfort, guidance, and wisdom as they grow into full discipleship.Thank you for their innocence and goodness. May their hands, extended in anticipation of your body and blood, inspire all of us to cherish this sacred Sacrament. Amen."
