Sat Nam,
Happy Spring! This is a wonderful time of the year in Southern Utah. Spring is a time of renewal and rebirth. It is a time to let go of the things that no longer serve us and open ourselves to all of the bounties of nature. April represents the number four in Numerology. It is the heart center, the neutral mind. It represents a place of peace and stillness, where love and compassion reside. This month focus on unlocking your own heart center with a the heart centered mantra Guru Guru Wahe Guru Guru Ram Das Guru and open yourself up to infinite opportunities and boundless possibilities.. Blessings and Love, Jessamy Bowie Sage Hills Yoga |

Healing Foods
During this time of the year, we often focus on spring projects like organizing our closets, cleaning up our yards or de-cluttering our garage. It is also an excellent time to do some spring cleaning for our body. A great way to do this is by incorporating healing foods into our diet. This is the time of year when we naturally begin to eat lighter. Perhaps trying a cleanse or monodiet is a great way to lighten up and detoxify our bodies from winter's long months and holiday indulegences! Try eating foods that are colorful, vary in texture and taste, and are full of vitamins and minerals.Below is a list of healing foods that we can find fresh during the spring time.
- Artichokes
- Asparagus
- Arugula
- Beets
- Greens
- Lemons
- Mint
- Strawberries
- Sweet Onions
