Summer Intern Wanted!
Are you a former SYA Athlete home for the summer? Know a college student who needs an internship in Community Engagement or Sports Marketing??
SYA is looking for an enthusiastic Community Engagement Intern. The Community Engagement Intern will be challenged to support the planning and implementation of various engagement efforts including community events, social media, and volunteer support. The intern will work closely with the Sports and Technology Administrator, and the Board of Directors. The position would be a good fit for anyone interested in non-profit work or the sports managment industry.
Intern Duties + Responsibilities:
Supporting staff in event planning, including annual golf tournament
Technical support for sports programs and teams
Developing social media content
Creating tutorials for coaches
Intern should meet following qualifications:
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Great time-management skills
Sports Marketing course work or relevant field interest
Social Media fluency
This position is an unpaid internship, it can be designed to support college credit/requirements and the schedule is flexible. SYA is a non-profit serving over 10,000 children ages 4-19.
