The SVA Class of 2024 has received over $4,600,000 in scholarships. Seniors have been accepted to prestigious institutions across the nation, including: American University, Auburn University, Baylor University, Barry University, Clemson University, College of Charleston, College of Coastal Georgia, Greensboro College, Georgia College and State University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia Southern University, Georgia State University, Kennesaw State University, Lafayette College, Pennsylvania State University, Purdue University, Saint Elizabeth University, Saint Peter’s University, Samford University, St. John’s University, University of Georgia, University of Mississippi, University of North Georgia, University of South Carolina, University of Tennessee, West Virginia University and Wingate University, and many more.
The graduating class has completed over 10,900 hours of community service during their four years at SVA. The SVA student body raised over $140,000 towards school and community outreach this year.
Twenty percent of SVA’s seniors were members of the National Honor Society and forty-nine of SVA’s seniors took a total of 231 Advanced Placement courses over their four years at SVA. Sixteen percent of these are AP Scholars with Scholars with Honor.

St. Vincent’s Academy advanced to State Tournaments in Cross Country, Volleyball, Flag Football, Swim, Rifle, Soccer, Golf, Tennis, and Track & Field. Our Swim team finished 2nd in the State overall and our Cross Country team made it to the State Championship competition. We had individuals qualify for the State Championships in Air Rifle and Golf. We had our first Sport Shooting athlete and our first Flag Football athlete commit to play in college with scholarships. Numerous athletes were recognized as Greater Savannah All Area/Region Teams. SVA recognized students who were awarded the Vincent J. Dooley Award for the State of Georgia, Tonks Award, Mercy Awards, Positive Athlete Awards, and Herbie Griffin Scholar Athlete Award.
St. Vincent’s students have received local and national awards in many areas this year. Some of these awards include: The Ronald Reagan Leadership Medal, Georgia Student Bar Exam Award, National Hispanic Recognition from the College Board, P.E.O. Sisterhood STAR Scholarship, Carson Scholars, Wofford Scholars, AP Scholars with Distinction, National Merit Scholar Award, The Exchange Club Student of the Month, University of Georgia Certificates of Merit, National Latin Exam Awards, College of Coastal Georgia Black Scholar Recognition, Harvard Book Award, Georgia Youth Assembly Awards, and Model UN Distinguished Delegation Award, to name a few.

St. Vincent’s Academy was named Best Private School in the State of Georgia by readers of the Georgia Business Journal for three years in a row!
SVA was published as the Face of Education in South Magazine’s Faces of the South 2020. SVA was also noted in their publication as a school that “Keeps a watchful eye on the future” and that “Perfectly balances its forward thinking with a sense of history.”

St. Vincent's Academy is trying to secure 170 additional alumnae gifts to help us reach 750 alumnae donors and 15% alumnae participation this year - a NEW RECORD at SVA! THIS WILL UNLOCK $25,000 IN CHALLENGE DONATIONS TO SVA! For extra fun, the class with the most donors will receive a complimentary brunch hosted at SVA!
