Susan Lindgren School Yard Garden Update

We've had a busy two weeks in the garden! Compost has been delivered and students have added it to the beds. We've started planting flowers, cauliflower, lettuce (we saw rabbits have been eating our lettuce today!), carrots, dill, and herbs. This week's theme was pollinators and we were lucky to watch Ms. Stolusky and Ms. Windhorst's classes release their Painted Lady butterflies today.

If you would like to volunteer in the garden, we would be happy to have you! Stay for your student's class or longer. No garden experience necessary. Please email Patty at patty.harayda@gmail.com.

Wednesday, May 22
