All You Need to Know About Efficient In-Office

Printing, Mock-Ups, & Stain and Glazing

Ok great… you just bought a fancy new printer..seemingly everyone is doing it.. right??

The team huddles around as we open the box like a gift on Christmas morning.. we plug it in as everyone stares.. then it hits you. HOW THE HECK DO I WORK THIS THING!

We’ve all been there. Getting tech to work is one thing.. having the tools and systems to make it efficient and PRODUCTIVE for daily use is a whole different animal.

Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see one of the nation's best in a one-on-one small group setting.

Justin is currently living in Sarasota and is the VP of Business Development for Midwest Dental Arts. In 2016 he completed the DSD Residency at NYU and has been and active contributor to the DSD concepts and an early adopter and beta tester for the Digital Smile Design App founded by Dr. Christian Coachman and Ralph George. In 2018 Justin and Dr Miguel Ortiz (Boston) have travelled the US teaching dental photography and digital workflows.

Justin and the Team at Midwest Dental Arts have been pioneers in developing digital workflows using IO scanners and advanced design softwares including the DSD App and Exocad. Currently Mr. McElroy has implemented several techniques in full mouth reconstructions including “dual Pmma protocols and stage 1&2 digital diagnostic wax ups”.

Seating is very limited.. don’t wait on this one!

Morning

- creating a digital patient

- how to take a proper intra oral scan and exporting the file (live demo)

- basic photo series in digital treatment planning (live demo)

- the use of AI (artificial intelligence) in smile design to 3D printing

Cementation and Ceramics 2022

Dentistry is changing faster today than anytime in modern history. The role of the monolithic restorations, Universal Adhesives, and digital, needs to be understood and implemented in every dental practice. As a practicing clinician, and as the Director of Education and Technology at Utah Valley Dental Lab, Dr. David Hornbook has a very unique perspective of these changes in what he has coined “living on both sides of the bench”. With a practice focused on metal-free, all-ceramic Aesthetic based dentistry, Dr. Hornbrook understands the importance of predictability, ease of use, and long term success when deciding which restorative material and cementation option will provide the best results. As the Director of Technology at a State-of-the-Art Dental Lab, his day to day interaction with ceramists and other clinicians provides him a thorough understanding of the problems both these groups face and how they are overcoming challenges and benefitting from CAD:CAM, Digital Wax-ups and Design, and high strength, aesthetic ceramic materials. Join Dr. Hornbrook as he discusses:

• Esthetic, monolithic ceramics and when to use what. • Deciphering the new dentinal adhesive agents and how can we combine ease-of-use with long-term predictability. • When to adhesively “bond” and when we can use “Luting” agents and what’s available. • PMMA long-term provisionals and how they are

used to provisionalize implant sites and help sequence Full Mouth Rehabilitations. • Bio-stimulating cements: how and when they can and should be used. • Achieving highly Aesthetic anterior Implant results using the “H” Abutment. • New changes in implant designs that allow for Screw-Retained Implant crowns where traditional designs made this impossible. • The new milling machines for ZrO2, Lithium Disilicate and resins, to yield more accurate and detailed restorations. • Use of a computer-assisted-anesthetic delivery device to limit the amount of anesthesia used and allows for evaluation of

Smile Designs with full lip mobility • ...and much more!

UPDATE IN ANTERIOR BONDED RESTORATIONS

This course will be an intense lecture program for all practitioners wishing to update their skills in anterior bonded restorations using direct composite resins and indirect porcelain veneers. Although bonded ceramics seem to represent the ultimate biologic, functional, mechanical and aesthetic restoration for compromised anterior teeth, the number of ultraconservative treatment strategies and materials continues to grow. The practitioner is faced with many esthetic treatment modalities and products. The major disadvantage of this evolution is that it becomes increasingly difficult to make the appropriate choices in a given clinical situation. The availability of various treatment alternatives often allows for selection of an approach that conserves the maximum amount of intact tissue and which complies with the biomimetic principle - Bio-emulation TM. Treatment options should always first include the simplest procedures such as chemical treatments and freehand composites and then progress toward more sophisticated approaches such as laminate veneers.

Objectives

- the latest scientific discoveries about no-post no-crown restorations

- the core values of biomimetic restorative dentistry

- a review of ultraconservative approaches

- important procedures to improve the success of your direct composite resin restorations

- the possibilities of novel semi-indirect approaches using anterior customized CAD/CAM composite resins - the keys to the success of indirect ceramic restorations (wax-up, mockup, preparations, delivery).
