Join this webinar to learn about different Social Security Administration (SSA) work incentives available for youth who are thinking about going to work and who receive SSI (Supplemental Security Income) cash benefits.

Tiffany Costa has worked for Montana State University Billings ~ Work Incentives Planning and Assistance Program as the Project Director/Community Work Incentives Coordinator (CWIC) since August 2013. She earned both her Master's in Health Administration in 2011 and Bachelor's in Counseling and Human Services in 2001 from Montana State University Billings. She received her CWIC certification from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2008. Montana State University Billings ~ Work Incentives Planning and Assistance Program (WIPA) receives funding from Social Security. They provide benefits counseling to Social Security Disability beneficiaries who are interested in work and individuals who are already working. The goal of the WIPA program is to assist Social Security beneficiaries with disabilities to make informed choices about work and to support working beneficiaries by helping them make a successful transition to self-sufficiency. MSUBillings ~ WIPA services are provided statewide in Montana and Idaho and are free of charge.

One hour of Montana Office of Public Instruction renewal credit is available for the webinar. You must request the credit when you register, and you must attend the full training to receive OPI credit.

The webinar will be recorded and archived to the Montana Deaf-Blind Project and Transition and Employment Projects resource libraries.
