Pre-K Initiatives Cohort

Career Day at Lewisville

Success Coaches provided support for Lewisville Middle School Career Fair. Crystal Saulter, Pre-K Initiatives Success Coach and Debora Garrison, Family Childcare Success Coach brought the knowledge of early education from the perspective of operating an early education center and entrepreneurship of a family childcare home. The coaches shared various career options available in Early Education which allows those who have the passion to teach, to mentor, to consult and so much more! Students were surprised to learn that Early Education does include teaching in a preschool or early education setting. Students were surprised to learn that Early Education also includes child life specialists, ABA therapist, school directors and ownership of a childcare business.

The coaches answered questions on obtaining various levels of education, from taking a certificate program to obtaining a degree or opening up a franchise school and managing a business.
