Today, we faced a chilling reminder of the threats our nation must stand against as an attempted assassination occurred at the presidential rally with former President Donald Trump and our current Republican presidential nominee. Our hearts are heavy, and our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by this horrifying incident. We have always been aware of the fragility of our freedoms and the immense value of our democracy, but moments like this highlight just how precarious our situation is and how close we are to losing our country as we know it forever. The safety and security of our leaders and citizens are paramount, and we must all unite in condemning such acts of violence with unwavering resolve. 

As members of the Suburban Republican Women's Club, Federated, we need to be more determined than ever to stand up for our country. We must unite and collaborate with other local clubs to strengthen our efforts. Our families, children, and grandchildren are counting on us. When strong conservative women and men unite, we can achieve extraordinary things and make a significant impact. Let us transform our sorrow and concern into a powerful force for good, supporting one another and working tirelessly to ensure a brighter and safer future for all Americans. Our resolve is fierce, and our commitment to the ideals that make this nation exceptional burns brighter than ever. Now is the time to stand together, to be inspired by our shared values, and to ignite the spirit of community that can drive positive change. Our nation needs us, and together, we can make a profound difference.
