all of our chayalim, a refuah shleimah for all the injured, a nechama
for all the families, and a yeshua for all of Klal Yisrael.
After learning about the solar system, the 3rd and 4th grade girls visited the Fernbank Science Center. They enjoyed the planetarium program and more during their field experience.
Third grade boys & their rebbe discussed the relationship between Tisha B’av and Pesach. It goes deeper than the first night seder and the beginning of Tisha B’av being the same day of the week. Just ask them!
The 8th grade boys have been working on a financial literacy unit. After learning about the cost of debt, they examined the national debt and compared it to the national debt of Israel and other countries.
Most classes viewed the eclipse on Monday. All of the TDSA students were carefully coached on safety during the eclipse. Those without glasses were able to enjoy the crescent shaped shadows on the ground.
Rabbi Shmuel Field, incoming Limudei Kodesh Principal, began his transition this week with a jam-packed visit. He schmoozed with parents and shared his past accomplishments and chinuch approach at the Meet and Greet.
This year's matzah bakery, run by Rabbi Rubin and Morah Cohen engaged the K-2 students! It was a mad dash to finish rolling, pricking, and baking in only 18 minutes. What fun!
