For every Sunday, adults with infants - pre-K are welcome to bring their children into the sanctuary with them, or to sit in the foyer or library, where they can hear the service but have a bit more parenting flexibility. Our ushers can help them get settled. As always, please contact Heather Hamilton for information about pre-K to 7th grade programs; Nate Pawelek for 8th-12th grade programs.

We had a great time last week. After seeing so many children (YAY!) we have now implemented NEW DROP OFF and PICK UP PROCEDURES- beginning this Sunday, October 3.

Pre K-5 grades should be signed in and signed out DOWNSTAIRS in the hallway by the Children’s Chapel.

Crossing Paths- 6th and 7th grades sign in at the Meetinghouse and will return, with adult supervision, to the DOWNSTAIRS CHAPEL at 11:00 AM for pick up.

A kind reminder: no children should be left unattended the church at any time. Facemasks are required by all. Any questions please contact Dr. Heather.

8th and 9th Grade OWL and the Parents group will not be meeting this Sunday, October 3; please feel free to join us in the sanctuary for the service. OWL and Parent Group likewise will not be meeting on October 10 because of the holiday weekend. Students will resume on Friday, October 15 for our monthly pizza session, in the Meeting House at 6:30 PM.

The High School Youth Group will begin its Earth Ministries custom curriculum this Sunday, October 3 at 11:00 AM. We will be learning about the “dominion” and “stewardship” theories from the Bible as possible origins for our present-day environmental challenges. Afterwards, we may play a few matches in our new gaga pit that the youth set up behind the Meeting House. Come check it out!

The Vision of Adult Faith Formation is to inspire and support individual spiritual growth, in connection with others, through life-long learning. Our programs are designed to engage and deepen the whole person: body, mind, and spirit, through education, experience, and ritual. Programs are open to all, though registration is required. Please join the Leadership Development Team in congratulating Sudha Sankar, October’s Leading Light award recipient. Among the many significant gifts of Sudha’s time and talent are her many years chairing the Religious Education Committee, her years serving on the Committee on Ministries (COM) and her significant role in forming and serving on the Leadership Development Team from which she recently stepped down. Sudha was instrumental in forming the TUCWomen’s group which she currently co-chairs. As co-chair of the #BLM committee Revealing History she has devoted many hours to raising awareness of racial injustice. For all her involvement in and commitment to TUCW, Sudha truly is a Leading Light.
