SUNDAY IS THE BEGINNING OF A NEW CHAPTER!
This Sunday we will be welcoming up to 40 congregants to join us in the sanctuary. Please sign up HERE if you are interested. We will continue to have our service on ZOOM as well.  Click HERE for Sunday Service Attendance Guidelines

Please take note:
Safe and informal childcare is available for this Sunday and next. It would help if we had a sense of whether children will be coming - please email Nate if you plan to bring your children.
New this week: ZOOM will not be available for access until 9:50 AM, just the way the building doors will not open in the sanctuary until 10 minutes to the hour. If you log in earlier, you will be held in a waiting room and be let in at 9:50.

Directly after the service, those in person guests are asked to move immediately to the patio outside. You may congregate there. Rev. John will lead a discussion on the sermon in a circle on the balcony to those who wish to attend.

For those ZOOMing from home, please stay on the line as usual. Jamie Forbes will facilitate the coffee hour discussion.
Between 11:20 and 11:30 – it depends a bit on when the service ends - the Trustees will begin an open town hall to discuss the possibility of a name change, as has been announced previously. All are welcome to this first of several meetings to share ideas and thoughts on this important matter.
So, recap:
  • 9:50, people let into the church ZOOM, people let into the sanctuary
  • 11:00 or end of service: Jamie Forbes leads discussion on ZOOM, Rev John leads in-person discussion on the apron outside his office, people can congregate safely on patio
  • 11:20-11:30 Ravi Sankar and Board members lead a discussion on Name Change online, with existing ZOOM service link.
  • 12:30. Name change discussion ends.

NEXT SUNDAY, MAY 23, 10:00 AM - Virtual and In Person*
“Which Lives Matter?” – Rev. Dr. John Morehouse
NAME CHANGE DISCUSSION AFTER THE SERVICE
As noted above, our first in a series of discussions about a potential name change will take place after the service this week, 20-30 minutes after the service ends - enough time for people who are attending in person can get home to log on to the ZOOM room if they wish to. ZOOM room is same as Sunday worship. Can't make it? No worries, there will be more opportunities this spring, summer and fall.
NOTE: During our in-person service, childcare at the church will be provided, so adults can attend the service by themselves. Two volunteers will be at the front entrance to welcome your young ones. As always, children are welcome to join us in the sanctuary, too, with masks (they must be signed up). It would help if we had a children's headcount: email Nate to let us know to expect them.
All children and youth are welcome to join us for our Sunday virtual classes. Just show up on ZOOM! Or, to find out more first, contact Nate Pawelek, our Director of Faith Formation. Information about our programming is always available HERE.
