Brown Bag Lunches- Over 1400 Provided!
Again a HUGE thank you to everyone who brought lunches for the 3 shelters and John Street Bridge (JSB)! We’re going to keep this going each week, and ask you once again to use Sign-Up Genius. This week we topped 1400 meals provided! We’re hearing more and more what a great family activity this is. Especially decorating the bags that are going to a family shelter!
Please
CLICK HERE to sign up for this Saturday, May 30, or another one in the future. Drop off is still Saturday, 12-5 at the church.

SHARE THE PLATE THIS SUNDAY
|
|
We will be sharing our Offering this Sunday with the
South End Community Food Pantry in Stratford
. We shared our Offering with South End in March/April and supplied 500 pounds of food. The Food Pantry provides meals as well as food. In March they provided 4,000 meals. In April, 7,000. That’s how much the need has grown in one month. And it’s still growing as people who have lost jobs exhaust their resources and reach out to the Food Pantry as a last resort. No need to wait until Sunday to contribute. Please contribute now by clicking on the
Virtual Offering Plate. Thank you.
