(A ‘Horcrux’ is Harry Potter lingo for ‘a battle’). Regardless of the weather, we will meet outside on the balcony to decorate and fill up our lunch bags because regardless of the weather people need to eat!
|
|
6:30 PM: The TUCW Youth Group (8-12th graders) will meet for a second bonfire, but this time we will drink hot chocolate with our s’mores and watch a movie (TBD)! There are predictions of rainy weather, so watch your inbox for updates. Dress warmly, layered like an onion! Also, bring a PPE mask and a lawn chair.

Young Children: 10:00-10:45 AM - ZOOM Meeting: HERE
Meeting ID: 838 5580 7831 Passcode: 402892
We will be learning about the birth of Jesus story and how the shepherds listened to the angels. Unitarian Universalists are not sure if there are real angels, but guess what? We don’t have to believe in real angels. We can simply imagine that an angel is something which calls to us to pay attention.
Tweens & Teens: 11:00 AM-noon ZOOM Meeting: HERE
Meeting ID: 880 3099 5551 Passcode: 165636
“Harry Potter and Unitarian Universalism” We will attempt those new spells we promised (*will need our wands). Then, we will learn about Herbology, which is fun to say. Herbal fragrances have been used for thousands of years to scent our homes, protect our spirits, and heal our bodies. The smells of the holiday season are profoundly linked to our memories.

Why wait until Sunday when you can contribute to the Offering right now?
Or if you’re not at Sunday’s service, still contribute to Share the Plate.
Our Share the Plate recipient will be the CT Bail Fund.
When people are jailed - for days, weeks, even months- because they can't afford bail they risk losing jobs, income and their housing, custody of their children.
|
|
|
Innocent people plead out to crimes that they did not commit simply to get out of jail and then have a criminal record.
Please click on the short video and hear about a CT Bail Fund success story and CLICK HERE so that we can bring someone home for the Holidays. The Offering will be gratefully received. Thank you!
