A CONVERSATION WITH KEN BARONE
ON CONNECTICUT'S EFFORTS WITH POLICE REFORM: 11AM
Our Police Accountability Task Force and Racial Justice Council invite you to a virtual Conversation with Ken Barone on Connecticut’s efforts with police reform. This will be a virtual meeting at 11:00 AM. ZOOM HERE. Meeting ID: 812 0522 7679 Passcode: 145036 ph:+1 646 876 9923

Ken is currently a Project Manager with the Institute for Municipal and Regional Policy (IMRP) at Central Connecticut State University (CCSU). His studies have yielded provocative findings about police engagement with people of color (POC) and spurred institutions to reform legal systems in Connecticut.

Given the national dialogue about race and police reform, we believe that Ken can provide a timely update on racial profiling, decarceration & re-entry programs, police practices, qualified immunity, liability insurance, community policing, and the implementation of Connecticut’s new police accountability law. A summary of the new law can be found here.
EVERY SATURDAY: DROP LUNCHES OFF 12:00-4:00 PM

  • Operates a mobile marketplace- a truck fitted out that brings fresh produce to low-access neighborhoods.
