The Capital Campaign Team is thrilled to share current news regarding the progress of our 2019 – 2022 Capital Campaign to repair and restore our beautiful building. The fabrication and installation of the skylight above the sanctuary is scheduled to begin in mid-late September and will continue until it is finished. Work will proceed in sections, beginning at the highest point in the skylight and moving towards the front door entrance of the building. This job will take some time, as each piece of the translucent glass in the skylight must be individually cut and installed...Click HERE for more.

There is something special about sitting down at a meal with friends, or with folks we haven't yet met who will become friends in the future.

The Membership Team is looking for hosts to share meals with our congregants - newcomers, old-timers, and everyone in between. For a while it might need to be outside barbecues or picnics, for COVID safety reasons - and then maybe later we can move inside. We'll be flexible.

Eileen Belmont has graciously agreed to organize these dinners for us. If you'd like to host something - right now, or post-COVID - please reach out to her HERE and let her know! And if you'd like to help her with organizing, let her know that, too!
Rev. John will be offering the next four session Soul Matters Starting Point program in September, on Thursday evenings: September 9, 16, 23, 30, 7:00-8:30 p.m. A rich and engaging program, each week will focus on different aspects of Unitarian Universalism, the history of our faith, and of our congregation. We will be sharing our spiritual journeys and getting to know one another. At the end of the program, the group will be invited to continue to meet monthly for at least a year as a Soul Matters Sharing Circle. Contact Linda Lubin, Soul Matters Program Coordinator, for more information or to sign up.
“I have been in a Soul Matters Sharing Circle for about six months, but already it feels as though I have known the members of my group for years. The act of talking about oneself and one's thoughts while a group of others listens attentively is a warm and comforting feeling. But even more important and valuable to me has been the act of truly listening - carefully, with intention and thoughtfulness. As we "hold up and hold out" - giving others the gift of our gratitude for what they said - we grow closer. And we learn to do this kind of careful listening in other settings as well. The growth I feel as a result has been powerful and important to me.” Elena Rockman-Blake
