STARTING POINT'S SOUL MATTERS SHARING CIRCLES:
SIGN UP FOR NOVEMBER SATURDAY SESSIONS, 11-AM-12:30 PM
Members will meet once a month, on ZOOM, for two hours and explore the spiritual theme of the month. Newcomers, and longer-term congregants will all begin with the common orientation program Starting Point. This is a four-session program led by Rev. John including an orientation to Unitarian Universalism. We share our spiritual journeys and delve into the “Three Paths of Unitarian Universalism.”

At the end Starting Point, the group may continue to meet monthly around a theme that is woven into other aspects of our congregational life. Examples are Deep Listening, Healing, Stillness, Commitment.

The next Starting Point program is being offered in November, on four Saturdays, 11-12:30. Contact Rev. John or Linda Lubin.
IS MYSTICISM WHERE SCIENCE AND RELIGION MEET?
Starting October 7, 2020—Wednesdays, 7:00−9:00 PM
Instructors: Dr. Bart Stuck, Applied Mathematician
Rev. Marjorie Partch, Jungian Astrologer

Group discussions follow readings and lectures on ancient concepts and cutting-edge theories, exploring:
• Religion is an increasingly irrelevant part of daily life, with growing numbers citing their religious affiliation as NONE.
• Spirituality is becoming equally insignificant, with materialism ascendant, and more people questioning the meaning of life.
• At the same time, Western science, after five hundred years, finds it has been studying five percent of the Universe.

Illustrative sources include The Tao of Physics and the 26-year correspondence between psychoanalyst C.G. Jung and physicist Wolfgang Pauli: Atom and Archetype.

For more information, click HERE. To learn how to participate via ZOOM, contact Bart Stuck - bartstuck@gmail.com
