CAMPAIGN ENDS THIS WEEK: $10K ALREADY RECEIVED!!
Thanks to many, we've received almost $10K to support our vision of the future with this mini-campaign. That is terrific! And - yes - more would be appreciated to take advantage of the 1:1 match for all funds given up to $20K. Let's make it happen!
Children Are Our Future logo
One of our priority ends for the year is "End 1.2.4. We become a sustainable, engaged, growing Congregation comprised of all generations." The Children Are Our Future campaign is part of supporting this effort. This campaign ends this week.

This is an extraordinary opportunity to support the future of our congregation: what we do now will influence the life of the church moving forward, with young families helping us continue to grow and thrive.

Thank you, in advance, for your generous support: you can donate by VENMO, vop.tucw.org, or send in a check made out to the Unitarian Church in Westport. Please be sure to put CHILDREN in the memo line.

We are aiming high and we're going to do great things!

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN NEWS
Hooray! On October 25 construction began at the entrance to our building. The crew of 6-8 workers and a full-time superintendent from Turner Construction has been moving quickly, and by Sunday, November 7, they will be using spider lifts to work in the sanctuary. Each glass pane is custom made for its place in the skylight. The new aluminum extrusions are about 20-inches apart, replicating the original skylight and based on the design engineer’s load calculations. When finished we will see the new glass, the aluminum cross pieces and aluminum side rails on each side of the skylight... Click HERE for more.
