BEWARE OF SCAMS - EVEN TEXT SCAMS! | |
|
At least three members received a text on May 30 from the number 252-420-1468 claiming to be Rev. Alan and asking for the purchase of Apple gift cards. Please know that Rev. Alan will never text or email a request about buying gift cards!
A police report has already been made about this scam, but continue to be vigilant as scams are becoming more and more sophisticated. It’s sad that we live in a world where duplicity and deception are becoming all the more common. If ever in doubt, please contact the Main Office with any questions at 203-227-7205 x10.

Collectively, our impact is powerful — a living example of our mission to "Inspire, Connect, and Act."

BAKED GOODS SALE ON SUNDAY, JUNE 9
CALLING ALL COOKS AND BAKERS!
| |
|
Last fall the Reproductive Justice Committee sponsored a baked/made goods sale; we raised nearly $700 to support women having abortions by putting together abortion care bags.
We’re back again, sponsoring another sale on Sunday June 9 before and after the service. We invite folks to donate baked goods, snacks or light lunch items for folks to eat before the Annual Meeting or "to go" foods to take home for later enjoyment. Please contact Jan Braunle if you’re able to bake or cook for us.
Monies raised will provide certified training for a minority woman to become a birth doula. A doula works with medical professionals to provide support before, during, and after birth, and minority doulas are desperately needed.
