IN MEMORIAM ~ SHERRY JAGERSON | |

Sherry Jagerson passed away on Sunday evening, May 26th. She was surrounded by her family, including her three children, Stacy, Ty, and Wendy.
An obituary will be forthcoming. Condolences and cards may be sent to the family at her home, 39 Woodside Avenue, Westport, CT 06880.
A memorial service will be held at TUUCW on June 15 at 1:30 PM.

Summer Services and Kids: Kareen Garrison and Angi Haen will coordinate children’s activities during Summer Services, which are June 16 through August 25. The children will gather in the Courtyard before service. The children will participate in an activity geared toward K-3 graders. However, any age can join this group, including babies and toddlers. We will ask older kids to act as helpers. Please send an email to Angi Haen before Saturday if your kids will attend, so we can plan accordingly.

We are excited to announce that we are launching a summer/fall project to create a complete membership directory - with photos - to capture all our members at TUUCW in this special anniversary year. As a first step, we will be offering an opportunity for folks to have their picture taken before or after the services on June 9 and 16 in the library with Rob Zuckerman as resident photographer. Calling all newcomers and members alike. The membership committee is excited to announce that we will be having Picnics at Sherwood Island State Park on the beach on Thursdays in June, July and August.
When: 5:00-8:00 PM ~ June 20, July 18, and August 22.
Where: Pavilion at Sherwood Island State Park
What: Bring food and drink. Grills available.
Details: Parking is free for instate vehicles, $15 for out of state. Pets are not allowed, but children are 😄. You don’t need to sign up ahead of time, just show up! RAIN OR SHINE!!

Walking the Labyrinth is walking meditation on an enlarged mandala. The Blue Lotus Peace Labyrinth, painted on a 24-ft. portable canvas, will be available in the Sanctuary Saturday, 1:00 PM-5:00 PM, June 22nd.

At the Annual Meeting on June 9th, 92 members, including 5 online attendees, cast their ballots. Members selected up to 10 organizations they wished to support. One ballot was discarded as the member had selected more than 10 organizations.

The Women's Circle with Grandmother Nancy will not take place during the summer months. We will reconvene in the fall. Meanwhile, please look at the various events and meetings available through Mending the Sacred Hoop Committee. Grandmother Nancy helped found this committee and is both an active leader and member welcoming all who are interested in attending events. | |
