2000 LINGENFELTER CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE
VIN: 1G1YY32GXY5117776
28,817 MILES

Here is a rare opportunity to own a very special Lingenfelter Performance Engineering 2000 Chevrolet Corvette convertible. Finished in Sebring Silver with a light gray leather interior, this Corvette is fully equipped with every option Chevrolet offered with the exception of a power convertible top which was eliminated for weight savings. It was then shipped to Lingenfelter where $32,675 of modifications were performed resulting in the 500 horsepower rocket you see here.

The car left the Bowling Green factory powered by a 345 horsepower 5.7L sequential fuel injected V8 engine connected to a 6 speed manual transmission. Options installed by the manufacturer include selective real time damping, adjustable leather trimmed sport bucket seats, active handling system, head up display, dual zone air conditioning, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, 6 way power passenger seat, memory package AM/FM CD sound system, body side moldings, fog lamps, twilight sentinel and floor mats. It was purchased in December, 1999 by the current owner from Jack Cauley Chevrolet in West Bloomfield, MI,

In June, 2000 the owner of this vehicle shipped the car to Lingenfelter Performance Engineering in Decatur, IN where they installed their Stage I performance package consisting of twin turbochargers, associated components, two K&N conical air filters and a Corsa performance exhaust system, resulting in a 500 bhp/ 500 ft-lb torque monster. In addition, Lingenfelter installed a Ron Davis heavy duty aluminum radiator with an integral engine oil cooler for better cooling, staggered 3 piece HRE polished aluminum wheels, Michelin Pilot MXX3 tires and a B&M short shift kit. A dash plaque states that this Lingenfelter Corvette is number 22 for the 2000 model year.

This is a one owner car that has been adult driven and properly serviced and maintained. It has been driven only 28,817 miles since new. The car comes with complete service records, complete Lingenfelter documentation and the original window sticker. When pushed, it is incredibly fast, yet when driven at normal speeds it is a very comfortable, rattle free, easy to drive cruiser.
