Here is an opportunity to own a very rare, desirable and distinctive Porsche. The car presented is a 2004 Porsche 911 Turbo cabriolet equipped with a Gemballa body kit and some Gemballa performance modifications. Gemballa is a highly respected tuning company based in Leonberg, Germany, near Stuttgart. They provide aftermarket body and mechanical parts mainly for Porsches. At one time a Gemballa vehicle held the lap record for road cars at the Nurburgring.
This 911 Turbo is painted Arctic Silver and has a black full leather interior and a black fabric top. It is equipped with a twin turbocharged 3.6L Mezger flat six cylinder engine rated at 415 horsepower and 415 ft lbs of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via a five speed Tiptronic automatic transmission and an all wheel drive system. Options from the factory include heated seats, lumbar support seats, storage compartment lid with Turbo logo, metal door sills with Turbo insignia, aluminum instrument dials, aluminum shifter and emergency brake. MSRP was $136,250.
The Gemballa modifications include a carbon fiber hood, unique front and rear bumpers, side skirts, rear wing, modified ECU and a Gemballa exhaust. In addition the vehicle is lowered and has HRE FlowForm FF01 19” wheels shod with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires showing 2019 date codes. Also, the vehicle is equipped with an aftermarket Pioneer head unit and an Escort Passport radar system.
This very special and unique Porsche is in excellent condition, runs and drives great, and has logged only 36,091 miles since new. There are two tiny cuts on either side of the convertible top but no leakage is reported. It has a clean Carfax, and books and some records are included. Brake pads and rotors were replaced in May, 2021.
