HOA Software Partnership: AppFolio
SNHA is very excited to announce that we are moving toward a cloud-based HOA software called AppFolio. Through this one platform we will be able to manage payment collection, online maintenance requests and work orders and so much more! Later this month, you will receive an invitation, via email, to activate your new homeowners’ portal.

Calling All Homeowners! Associate Directors Needed
The SNHA Board of Directors would welcome homeowners to serve as associate directors interested in working within a several different areas of resort life.
The primary time commitment for Directors and Associate Directors includes attendance in 6 virtual meetings, typically held on third Wednesday of alternating months, usually for 60 -90 minutes with a few more hours in committee work between meetings. Our business involves any and all concerns of home ownership at Smuggs including maintenance, housekeeping, rentals, infrastructure, QHP, etc.

SNHA Homeowners Survey
The SNHA Owners Survey closed on March 15th. We had an enthusiastic response from owners who took the time to thoughtfully fill out the survey both online and a few through the mail in option. In total, 144 owners returned a completed survey! In addition to the multiple-choice answers, owners made the effort to type or write a total of 236 long response opinion answers to those questions which allowed for that. We will be presenting the survey results this July 2 at the SNHA annual meeting. As promised, a random drawing was held among the first 75 responders for the “early bird prize". The winner was Richard Miller in Mountainview 1-20. Congratulations to the Miller family! They will receive a $250 dollar Visa Gift card.
Remember that the drawings for the $500 dollar Visa Gift Card Grand Prize, and the $250 dollar Visa Gift card second prize will take place at the owners’ annual meeting in July. You do not need to be present to win.

Technology Update
Guest Wi-Fi Improvements
- All fiber optic infrastructure has been completed, tested, and certified.
- The remaining buildings yet to be connected to the upgraded fiber network, include Sterling, Countryside 7-10, and are scheduled for completion by the first week of April.
RFID Lock Installations/Energy Management
- All 313 locks scheduled for SALTO replacements have been completed.
- Homeowners who signed up for energy management option 1A should anticipate a completion date of 4/19
- All RFID card updaters are online and functioning throughout the resort.
- Smugglers’ will begin beta testing of the mobile key app for SALTO locks in early April, in anticipation of full implementation, for the summer season.
*Next week, Smugglers’ will be emailing all homeowners a more detailed update on technology projects with an emphasis on the Energy Management Project. This will cover the features and functionality of the Incomm Energy Management System. Smugglers’ will be offering a follow-up installation period for homeowners who may be interested in Smart Thermostat installations but had not previously signed up. Installation costs will range between $485-$650.
