Save the Dates: Burlingame High Centennial Celebration is October 13-14

The Burlingame High Alumni Association is hosting several events to commemorate the school's 100th year the weekend of October 13-14, 2023. Events include a golf tournament, the BHS Football game, Lorton Avenue Block Party, Alumni Celebration at BHS and a Celebration in downtown Burlingame and Broadway Avenues.

SMUHSD Bus Passes Now On Sale

Bus routes to Aragon, Hillsdale and San Mateo are posted online

Bus passes are now available for purchase at EZSchoolPay.com. We strongly encourage parents to purchase bus passes online once you receive your student’s class schedule.

Rent a SMUHSD Facility for 2023-2024 School Year

The San Mateo Union High School District makes school and athletic facilities available for rent when they are not being used for educational purposes. The District’s Facilities Use Department manages the rental of these spaces for everything from community fundraisers to cultural events and youth sporting events.

2023-2024 Student Nutrition Update

During the 2023-2024 school year the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and California Department of Education (CDE) granted waivers to provide free meals before school, during brunch, and lunch service to ALL San Mateo Union High School students.

Art Takes a Bus Ride 2023-2024

SamTrans provides service to parks and nature preserves all over San Mateo County, and it wants to reflect these stunning outdoor spaces on their buses. San Mateo County Students in 1st through 12th grade are encouraged to enter the 2023-2024 Art Takes a Bus Ride art contest.

This year’s submissions will celebrate the environment and the great outdoors - the contest theme is "Exploring Nature with SamTrans."

Student work will be judged against others in the same grade, depending on participation. Artwork must be created by students only.

This contest is sponsored by the San Mateo County Transit District and the San Mateo County Office of Education.

Save the Date: San Mateo Police Activities League's Breast Cancer Awareness Event is October 7

The San Mateo Police Activities League is hosting its annual Breast Cancer Awareness event on Saturday, October 7. This event will feature free mammograms by Sutter Health, dunk-a-cop, donut eating competition, pumpkin painting, bounce house, food and drinks, live music, raffles, prizes and more!
