UNEMPLOYMENT UPDATE

JNESO’s attorneys have written multiple letters to NJ DOL Commissioner, Robert Asaro-Angelo, seeking to have all unemployment claims from employees at St. Michaels Medical Center reprocessed properly under the new law. To date, JNESO has not received any response. This is unacceptable.

We urge you, your family & and friends, to call Governor Murphy’s office at 609-292-6000. Tell him that:

  • JNESO members have been denied benefits for far too long. While other striking healthcare workers have received them immediately.

  • JNESO members who did receive benefits continue to have both NJ and federal tax refunds as well as anchor credits withheld and continue to receive threatening collection letters.

  • St. Michael’s management continues to appeal and stall this process.

  • You are entitled to these benefits under the new law regardless of what management claims.

THE MORE CALLS THE BETTER!

IT'S TIME TO FORCE THE DOL TO DO WHAT'S RIGHT!
