AUTOMATIC MEAL BREAK DEDUCTION

(CLASS ACTION GRIEVANCE)

Effective June 25th, management implemented changes to no longer require employees to punch out/in for their meal breaks on the timekeeping system and will insert a 30-minute unpaid meal break into the recorder hours -this may create an inaccurate accounting of actual hours worked.

There shall be provided a thirty (30) minute unpaid meal period each workday for each bargaining unit employee.
