Mission Statement
St. Martin of Tours Academy fosters confidence, curiosity, and independence through a climate of cooperation and trust by preserving dignity throughout the learning process, accentuating all children’s God-given gifts in a Catholic environment.
Dear SMA Community,

Your children are doing very well getting to know their peers, teachers, and building community. Be on the lookout for information from teachers via email, their websites, or items coming home. Our new website is on line and we are in the process of adding the teacher newsletters, pages and links. Everything should be ready by next week. All of us here at SMA appreciate your kindness, patience, and grace as we roll out a brand new school year.

On Wednesday, the oldest child of each family received a YELLOW Family Card to display in the passenger side window of your vehicle at pick-up. This will help us get your child to your car quickly.

Please set aside the time to come to the parent meetings for grades 1-4 next Wednesday and 5-8 on Thursday at 6pm. Meet the teacher, check out the classrooms, learn about the expectations, your child's school day and more. Adults only, please.

Don't forget to join us for Kona Ice at noon tomorrow in the school parking lot! Proceeds benefit our athletics program.

In Mission,
Jennifer Miller
Principal
Shoes & Uniform Updates
Due to the increase in shoe prices and limited supply chain, we are relaxing the shoe dress code until we return after the holidays on January 4. Rest assured that students will not be receiving Non-Compliance of Uniform slips if their shoes are not totally solid colors from now until Christmas. The remainder of the shoe dress code stands (no hightops, socks must cover the ankle, etc.). Special thanks to parents who shared their possible solutions with the office so we could work together on reaching a fair solution.

Optional SMA sweatshirts are part of the PE attire and can be purchased in the office. Cardigans or pullover sweaters are required for Mass (once the hot weather passes) along with a white polo shirt or blouse in lieu of the SMA sweatshirt. P.E. uniforms are required on P.E. days only. Students will not be changing at school into P.E. uniforms.
