Dear Adviser,
I wanted to reach out today to share some important updates regarding the 2021 State Leadership Conference.
As shared in a letter from the Arizona Department of Education to CTE Administrators, the State Leadership Conference scheduled for March 29 - 31, 2021 will not be held in-person, rather virtually. Please refer to the Procedures for Virtual Competition within the
National Competitive Events Guide and the
Arizona Proficiency Events Guide as you prepare with your members. More information regarding the Virtual State Leadership Conference will be shared prior to the opening of registration on January 23, 2021.
In addition, the deadline for State Officer Candidate Applications has been extended to the close of business on February 12, 2021; this is an in-hand date. We hope this assists your members in pursuing leadership opportunities within our organization. More information can be found at
www.azfccla.org/sec-elections.
In addition, the materials needed for the Business Meeting have been published on our website at
www.azfccla.org/slc. Pursuant to Article XV of the Arizona FCCLA Bylaws, any amendments to the Bylaws must be distributed to all affiliated chapters at least 30 days prior to the annual meeting.
We will continue to share and post updates regarding the Virtual State Leadership Conference via email and on our website at
www.azfccla.org/slc. If you have any questions, as always, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Sincerely,
Andrew Kuntz
State Adviser
