Come Early to March SJNA Meeting for
Coffee and Community Connections
Come early to next month's St. Johns Neighborhood Association general meetings, Monday March 12th. Decaf coffee and snacks will be provided.

All are invited to meet fellow neighbors and connect with area community groups.

2 table spaces will be available every month for community organizations, non-profits, and neighbors to provide an opportunity to give information, share updates, and engage with the community before meetings! MARCH 4 | 11AM | March Fourthe Love: A Lyric on Lombard
7330 N Saint Louis Ave

March Fourthe Love is a walking tour and site-specific musical composition commemorating lives of American Africans killed by U.S. police. As an ode, the composition calls for an end to gun violence to transform histories of police brutality against black and brown communities.

The processional follows Lombard for 11 blocks between St. Louis and Oswego Avenues. Meet at St Louis Ave and Lombard BLVD in the parking lot of 7 Eleven at 11 AM. Route is ADA Accessible. Free and open to the public. All ages welcome! Hosted by Emma Colburn.


MARCH 31 | 10AM - 3PM | Friends of Baltimore Woods Native Plant Sale
St. Johns Plaza - N Lombard & N Philadelphia

The Friends of Baltimore Woods native plant sale will offer a generous selection of Pacific Northwest native plants at reasonable prices, including native oak community plants and hummingbird, butterfly, and bee favorites. The Backyard Habitat Program will have an information table with plant experts on site. The event is free and open to the public.

APRIL 28 | 9AM - 3PM | SJNA Annual St. Johns Spring Clean
N Charleston & N Central

Mark your calendar for the annual St. Johns Spring Clean. Bring your bulk recyclables and refuse that otherwise won't fit into your curbside bins. We are also accepting tires, paint, and more. However, we cannot accept used household items like carpet or framing materials. A full list of accepted items will be published once confirmed.

Suggested Donation - $5 Per Car Load, Tire, & Electronic | $10 Per Truck & Trailer

SJNA is looking for volunteers to help with the event. Lunch will be provided! To sign up, email info@stjohnspdx.org for details.

University of Portland, Bauccio Commons - 5000 N Willamette

Dinner will be served, plus we'll be doing an awards ceremony to honor all of the heroes who make North Portland such a great place to live and work! Take advantage of the early bird deal on single tickets going through the end of February!
