Click here to register for the next session

The NJ Legislative Disability Caucus serves as a bipartisan forum within the New Jersey Legislature for lawmakers and their staff to consider the impact on the disability community when shaping ALL public policies in the Garden State through increased awareness and a greater understanding of the complexities of the disabilities service system and issues affecting individuals with disabilities and their families.

DRNJ Disability Issues Public Input Survey

Each year, Disability Rights NJ is federally required to conduct a Public Input Survey. The purpose of this survey is to gather information and opinions that will help our organization’s leadership set our 2024 priorities, goals, and objectives for the protection & advocacy of individuals with disabilities. The results of this survey are meaningful to us beyond being a requirement. The survey collects feedback from a wide range of people about disability issues, and this valuable input helps us make decisions about the work we will do, including the cases we will accept.

Who do we want to hear from?

·    People with disabilities

·    Family and friends of individuals with disabilities

·    Stakeholders and advocates

·    State agency representatives

·    Court, criminal justice, and law enforcement personnel

·    Disability service providers, caregivers, and support personnel –

including mental health providers

·    Other individuals and agencies involved in disability advocacy and service provision

Surveys will be accepted until July 30, 2023.

On average, the survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and is available now through July 30. You can fill it out online or print a copy and mail it to our office at 210 South Broad Street, Third Floor, Trenton NJ 08608.

If you prefer the assistance of an ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter to complete the survey, please use a video relay service to contact us at 800-342-0823, Monday through Friday, 8 am – 5 pm.
